Terms and Conditions

1. Cleaning
All apartments are fully cleaned before your arrival. They have towels and clean bedlinen.

2. Current costs
All normal running costs of the apartment are included in the apartment rental (gas, light, water, TV electricity,…).

3. Arrival and Departure
On the arrival day the owner will be waiting for you at the apartment to welcome and show you the details of the apartment and give you the keys. Chek-in will be done after 15:00 h. to make sure that there would be enough time to leave the aparment in perfect conditions for you. You will sign a short-term tenancy contract with the owner and pay for the remaining amount in cash. Do not forget to bring a copy of your passport or identity card to give to the owner. Check out should be done before 11:00 h on your departure day.
Some owners can ask for a suplement of 20 euros if you arrive to the apartment if arriving after 21 h

4. Security deposits
The deposit is paid as a guarantee to ensure no damage is done to the accommodation. Azul Barcelona does not collect or return any security deposits. They have to be handed over to the owner or guardian of the domicile on your arrival day. The collection of the deposit is done through the same procedure. Azul Barcelona does not get involved with any security deposits. We cannot be held liable for the loss of a security deposit for any reason whatsoever, nor can we be held liable in any way due to a dispute arising from a security deposit. In the case where a landlord retains part of or the complete deposit the landlord is advised to hand in a written report on the damages done to justify the retention of the deposit.

5. Reservation
Once the reservation of your appartment has been accepted on line you will receive a confirmation email. The exact address of your apartment, its placement and the data about the owner will be sent in a second mail during the next working day. You should verify that all the information in the confirmation email is correct and to notify Azul Barcelona within three days of any possible changes. Failure to notify us within this period will mean that the client accepts the reservation as stated.

6. Cancellation
Incase you want to cancel the reservation after the pre-payment, you should contact to notify it. Automatically, the following rules are going to be applied:
- Azul Barclona reimbuses 95% of the prepayment if informed more than 45 days before starting the stay.
- Azul Barcelona reimbuses 50% of the money you paid if we are informed between 45 and 21 days before starting the stay.
- Azul Barcelona reimbuses if we are informed less than 21 days before starting the stay.
In the case the client has to modify the period initially booked, Azul Barcelona commits itself to finding a satisfactory solution, if possible. Should the change not be possible, the cancellation rules will be effective. Once the tenant has paid the total amount to the owner this is not refundable in any case.

In the event that Azul Barcelona has to modify the initial agreement, Azul Barcelona is commited to offer an equally good or better accommodation without any additional cost to the client or to reimbuse him the sum charged on-line to the client during the reservation.

7. House Rules
The client commits to respect the rules that pertain to the apartment and the community it belongs to. It is very important to respect the neighbours that get up early to work and that is why it is not allowed to use the apartment for celebrating parties in any case. The silent hours to be respected are from 11 pm to 9 am. Should the house rules not be followed, Azul Barcelona has the right to expel the client without any compensation.

8. Number of guests
The client will inform Azul Barcelona of the number of guests included within the booking. The number of persons who may use the apartment may not exceed the number of persons initially agreed for, except for children under two years of age. Pets are only allowed where permission has specifically been granted. In the event of any infringement of the aforementioned obligations, Azul Barcelona at its sole discretion will be entitled to request the client to leave the apartment, and the client shall have no right to claim any type of compensation.

9. Claims
In case of claims against the accommodation you have to communicate them immediately to the owner. If the reasons for the claim have not been eliminated within an appropriate period of time it has to be communicated to Azul Barcelona. Only complaints received by e-mail before the end of the stay will be taken into account. Azul Barcelona shall not be liable for the breaking of the elevator or for any other inconveniences which are beyond its control, but it shall do its best to remedy any of such inconveniences in a diligent manner. In the event the client leaves the apartment without Azul Barcelona being informed, the host shall lose all rights to claim a compensation.

10. Responsibility
Azul Barcelona shall not be liable for any direct or indirect damages that may arise as a consequence of the use by the client of the apartment, including, without limitation, damages, losses because of fires, robbery, criminal behaviour. Azul Barcelona is solely acting as intermediate between the property owner and the client.

11. Our Website
All apartment 's descriptions and information are supplied by the owners and they are liable of its accuracy but also of the comunication to Azul Barcelona of the changements in the apartment 's equipement. Whilst Azul Barcelona does its utmost to maintain accuracy and to check details wherever possible, it cannot be held liable for any errors or omissions that may arise. Azul Barcelona also reserves the right to change information published on the site at any time, including rates, descriptions, photographs and its terms and conditions.

12. Safety with payment online
Azul Barcelona takes all the necessary steps to protect your credit card information. The comunitation between our web site and the banks is securized by the page folowing the SSL model (model prompted by Microsoft and adopted by all the online vendors). The information that is passed on is undecypherable. Moreover, Azul Barcelona cannot see at any time the credit card number you introduce in the form.

13. Privacy Policy
Azul Barcelona takes the privacy of its customer’s data very seriously, keepig all personal information confidential, as established by the Ley Organica 15/December 13th 1999. Azul Barcelona require you to supply personal information.These details may be passed onto 3rd party suppliers only for the purpose of fulfilling the transaction agreed. The details will not be passed onto 3rd parties for marketing purposes.

14. Applicable laws
These terms and conditions are interpreted from and conformed to Spanish laws. The client has an obligation to accept these terms and conditions prior to any transaction made with Azul Barcleona. The client is responsible for reading and understanding the terms and conditions before accepting them.
