The discovery of this luxurious apartment starts before having crossed the door, with a airlock entrance painted into metal colour and decorated with a majestic Chinese door out of wooden. Once in the apartment, following a corridor illuminated by contemporary glosses of Asian inspiration, you will discover first a charming bedroom provided with a double bed, a 19 th Chinese cupboard out of painted wooden and a plasma screen TV, and then a very nice bathroom with shower entirely decorated with modern colourful ceramics. At the end of the corridor, you will reach a modern kitchen, totally equipped and provided with a table and four chairs of typical Catalan style. Just behind this space, one discovers a sumptuous living room decorated with a subtle mixture of antiquities and modern pieces of designed furniture: a comfortable banquet covered with a Kilim carpet which can be used as a sofa/bed for two people, a TV with plasma screen with connection to the satellite cable, a majestic Indian sculpture/mirror, two masterpieces, a splendid gloss from the Sixties out of mother-of-pearl blades, .... This furniture inspired of very different environments and cultures is perfectly emphasized by a subtle set of colours: the red with gilded reflections of a part of the walls, the brown of the wooden floor and beams of the ceilings, and the sophisticated patterns of the wallpapers especially designed by an artist from Barcelona. The whole bathing in a natural light coming from a high balcony facing a very typical fresco of the Catalans frontages and which adds a last detail to the decoration. This apartment tastefuly decorated and having all the modern comfort constitutes an exceptional experiment of housing in Barcelona. Isolated from the noise of the city while being in the heart of one of its most animated districts, one feels apart in this magic place. |

The surrounding area: The area around the apartment, mostly pedestrian, is in the heart of the Gothic district where are located the most famous stores of Barcelona, many other shops, restaurants, pubs,... The “Plaça Catalunya” and the famous “Ramblas” street are just at few meter from the apartment with the “Boqueria” market and the “Liceu” Theatre. The Gothic cathedral of Barcelona is also very close. |
